Lindesay Electric was the previous trading name used by Andrew Lindesay. Under this trading name, a number of desktop software products were produced for the MacOS-X platform;
Unfortunately it has become uneconomical to continue to produce these products and so they have been withdrawn from sale to prevent on-going costs. The LEWOStuff project continues to be developed and has been re-factored into a project called "lestuff".
Note that the class prefix "LE" (Lindesay Electric) and the packaging "nz.co.lindesay" appears in a number of places in Silvereye Software's open-source projects. This is a legacy of the Lindesay Electric nomenclature and will be maintained for consistency going forward.
MacPeopleDownunder was an online database of individuals and organisations working with Apple technology which Andrew Lindesay independently operated from around 2001 to 2010. Thanks go to Orcon Internet for their support in the early years with hosting and also to Gravitate who have kindly hosted the system for the latter few years.
